Oscar Piastri is being summoned before the stewards due to allegations of impeding Kevin Magnussen’s Haas during Q1 at Imola. The Australian driver is scheduled to appear before officials at 18:15 local time to address the issue outlined in the official stewards’ document. Piastri was reportedly in front of Magnussen in Turn 2 during the first part of qualifying, causing the Haas driver to miss advancing to the next session. Although Piastri qualified in second place, a potential penalty could see him lose his starting position. Despite McLaren’s upgrades in Miami, Piastri was only given half of the updates, but now that he has the full package, he aims to challenge Verstappen for victory.
